HR Manager

Our client, a main board-listed company on the Singapore Exchange, is a leading manufacturer within the precision engineering field. With presence worldwide including Asia, Europe & The Americas, The Group has emerged as a partner of choice for major clients requiring one-stop, turnkey solutions, with capabilities ranging from product designs, fabrication, process, finishing, through to the assembly of completed products. In view of expansion, The Group is currently seeking for qualified candidates to grow their career with them as a Human Resources Manager, managing the full spectrum of HR matters with a hands-on approach, including but not limited to, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment & Talent Management, L&D, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement human resource policies and procedures in line with the company’s business goals
  • Manage compensation and staff benefits programmes
  • Implement performance appraisal and performance management systems for all levels of staff in line with the company objectives
  • Manage recruitment and selection activities to meet the manpower requirements of all the departments
  • Oversee training and development activities
  • Oversee and submit all necessary statutory reports to the relevant authorities
  • Handle grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Plan and carry out company events to foster harmonious working environment
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyse turnover determinants and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • A good Degree from recognized institutions with 3 years experiences as a HR Manager, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all business units
  • Broad knowledge and experience in relevant employment laws and practices
  • Meticulous and strong analytical skills with an eye for details
  • Good leadership skills with a hands-on approach, ability to work independently and in teams
  • Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with the ability to lead and develop the HR team
