Pre-Sales Consultant (APAC)

Our client, one of the top Fintech companies is looking for a qualified candidate to join their Asia Pacific team.  The ideal candidate must have the following skillsets:

  • Domain Knowledge on payment Switch operations and interfaces with all Channels. (ATM, POS, Kiosks, Mobile, Internet)
  • Domain knowledge on transaction acquiring
  • Domain knowledge on card Management system ( Credit, Debit, Prepaid) Domain knowledge on card personalization and issuing
  • Understanding of EMV and PCI Standards
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Cards/Payments industry in either product consulting,
  • Business Analysis, Business User or sales support role
  • Ability to travel internationally at short notice on regular basis Educated to at least Bachelors Degree

The ideal candidate: (Good to have)

  • Domain knowledge on merchant management , Loyalty, E-Commerce payment gateway solutions
  • Understanding of Payment Networks (VISA, MasterCard etc), certifications and interfaces (Online and Clearing)
  • Domain knowledge on on-line / off-line card and transaction fraud prevention solution ( Non AML)
  • Development experience or understanding of C, PL/SQL and Java.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills, excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be experienced in developing and presenting your ideas at different level wide audience
  • Adaptable and able to maintain a professional image
  • Ability to listen, analyses, discusses and promotes solutions with customers and responds to their needs
  • Working in team environment with a strong client focuses and project delivery
  • Ability to motivate self and work independently with little supervision to provide sales support and develop sales opportunities
  • Prepare architecture for payment system
  • Provide specialist product knowledge and domain expertise in the support of Card management and Payments switching solution sales
  • Support sales activities for SmartVista Suite of Products in the specified region Assist in developing new business in the specified region

Key Objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Pre-sales Solution/Product Consultancy
  • Maintain Cards and Payments Business and Market Knowledge Demonstrate awareness of competitors and their strategies
  • Prepare and conduct demo and POC
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of SmartVista suite of products Analyse business requirements
  • Produce proposals and RFP/RFI responses. Work with customers to understand their technology needs, requirements, and implementation, understand and overcome potential objections of a technical and business nature
  • Conduct business and product presentations for prospects
  • Provide product demonstrations and presenting to customers
  • Understand and document customers’ product/technical requirements Identify market trends
  • Support In-Country partners
  • Advise Product Management on the business functionality required for SmartVista suite of products
  • Contribute to the marketing campaigns and exhibitions
